COP21 : where we are ?

For two weeks in Paris , the 196 parties to work on an agreement dedicated to the fight against climate change.   

 
This universal agreement will identify decisions and actions for the decrease emissions of greenhouse gases.  
 
For the occasion, Wednesday, December 9, Laurent Fabius, President of the COP21 proposed a new method of working in the plenary of the Paris Committee.
 
Two meetings , format " Indaba " format, were put in place.
That same day, a new version of the text, increased from 43 to 29 pages, was presented at the Paris Committee.  
 
Night negotiations ensued around three working themes :

  • finances,
  • the ambition of the agreement,
  • differentiation.

 
Originally scheduled for today, Friday, December 10, the final text will be finally adopted tomorrow.
