Going one step further

A player that is commited…

ERAFP's board of directors has made a number of firm commitments regarding the Scheme's financial management:

invest all its assets using a socially responsible approach
november 2005

adopt an
SRI Charter

march 2006

draft and manage changes in a tailored extra-financial rating framework

march-december 2007

adopt shareholder engagement guidelines that are updated and extended every year

march 2012
ERAFP is involved in initiatives that encourage concertation among investors and researchers in the SRI field. One example is its adherence to the United Nations Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) since 2006.

In 2013, ERAFP joined the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative and the Institutional Investors Group on Climate Change.

In 2014, ERAFP strengthened its involvement at the level of the PRI by actively participating in a number of collaborative engagement initiatives on the themes of:
  • tackling corruption;
  • hydraulic fracturing;
  • labour relations;
  • working conditions in the agricultural supply chain.

...and recognized

  • IPE award for France's best pension fund in 2012 and 2013
  • IPE award for Europe's best ESG pension fund in 2012
  • TBLI award for best ESG investor in 2010 and 2011
  • 2014 Responsible Investor award

ERAFP received the 2014 Responsible Investor award from Jacques Attali.

Having already won this award in 2008, ERAFP was recognised again in 2014 for its initiatives and its adoption of a 100% SRI investment policy.
"For a pension fund as young as the RAFP to be voted best French pension fund and best European ESG fund by its peers is a real source of pride. These awards are testament to the work and commitment of an entire team. They will encourage us to maintain our efforts to further develop our investment policy."
